Everton Technical Training

All Everton Competitive players welcome

Technical training schedule is as follows:
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 6:30 - 7:30.

All competitive players are encouraged to attend.

The focus of the technical training sessions for the month of October are as follows:

Week One and Two :      Revision
Monday:        Coerver
                        - Scissors, Hook turns (Inside/Outside)
Tuesday:        Turning Checking shoulders
Wednesday:   Ball control/First touch

Week Three and Four Passive Pressure
Monday         Coervers

RE: Club Soccer

I would like to welcome you all back from your summer vacations and give you a brief update as to our first year as Everton FL.

I now feel comfortable with releasing our numbers for club soccer. I have waited until now as I wanted to be sure of our total numbers for season 2008-09. It is with great excitement that I inform you as club members our numbers have increased by 138 players season 2007-08!

Goalkeeper Training Competetive Player

Schedule begining August 4th:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
U9-U12 from 7:30-8:15
U13 and Up from 8:15-9:00

Goalkeeper Training for competetive players will take place towards the back between the Multi-purpose field and the South Central field.

Welcome to the newly designed Everton Florida Kit!

Our DOC’s and the Board of Directors have secured a fantastic deal with Umbro, the sponsors of Everton FC in England. The current blue and sunshine colored Adidas kit will be swapped for a replica Everton Royal & White kit.

It will be a great honor for our children to play in the same kit as the infamous Everton Club in England.

Competitive Coaches Needed

The Executive Director Everton FL (www.evertonFL.com) is actively looking for qualified coaching candidates to become members of our coaching staff for the 2008- 2009 season. Current staff includes:

UEFA “A” Licensed Coach
4 Collegiate coaches
3 former professional soccer players
Several Nationally qualified coaches (NSCAA/ USSF)

Our affiliation with Everton FC of the EPL makes Everton FL a great club in the Tampa Bay area. In addition to following “The Everton Way” curriculum, coaches also have access to online training sessions used at EFC and also the potential to go to England and spend a week observing and learning from professional coaches in the Everton Academy. We are looking for coaches who have received their National C license or equivalent, have a strong background in the game, as a player or coach.

St. Pete Raiders Competitive Program

The St. Pete Raiders offer a highly competitive youth soccer program known for its high standards and excellence. We have both boys’ and girls’ competitive teams from the U9 to U19 age bracket. It is of great importance to the St. Pete Raiders that all of our players are provided with a positive learning experience, one that not only focuses on soccer skills, but the development of the whole player; physically, emotionally and socially. It is also of great importance to our organization that our coaches be well trained and put the best interest of the players first.

Our theme this coming year is ‘Excellence through Endurance’. Through hard work and much effort our goals will be achieved!
